The property details page can be customized with tokens. A token is essentially a smart-tag, that once populated will dynamically show the data on the page.
For example, tokens can be added to display YouTube videos or Matterport Tours of the property directly on the property pages.
A custom token for video tours can be created and implemented in the code for the property page by the CiiRUS Website Team. The token will be implemented in the code as [VIDEO].
The Property Manager will then add the iFrame (embed link) of the video or tour, which will populate in place of the token.
Please reach out to the CiiRUS Website Team to implement the token on the property page. Then, follow the steps below to add the iframes into CiiRUS.
First, the iFrame of the video or Matterport needs to be obtained to add into CiiRUS. An iFrame is a frame within a frame. It is a component of an HTML element that allows documents, videos, and interactive media to be embedded onto a page.
Here is an example of an iFrame:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vy9f8Fj9kdo" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Each video or tour should have a link or an iFrame associated. This is also known as the "Embded Link." If you need assistance obtaining the iFrame, please contact our Service & Support Team.
When this iFrame is implemented into CiiRUS, it will populate with the actual video right on the page. This means, the guest does not have to leave the website to view the video.
